Andrew and Bernice Newey - Langley
We’ve been with Prospera for 28 years and they’ve always treated us well, but we didn’t always deal with them. When we emigrated to Canada from Birmingham in the UK, we dealt with a bank, but when they started taking money out of our savings account for service charges, we didn’t think that was right so we looked around for an alternative.
Someone recommended we go to a credit union instead.
We started out with Prospera at the Fleetwood Branch in Surrey and we’ve always had very good service. With our investments at Prospera, we had a lot of trust in our advisor. So much in fact that when we moved to Cloverdale we didn’t want to switch branches, so we kept making the commute back to Surrey until our advisor told us she was retiring.
We were a little apprehensive about switching to the Langley Branch until we got to know the people there. They treat us in the same friendly, helpful manner as everyone else at Prospera. I’m retired now myself, so I really appreciate that we can deal with a branch that’s close to home—we’re happy to be part of the Prospera credit union family.
